I am currently planning a business event. How much time in advance should I plan for booking the WELLENLÄNGE?
The more time in advance the better we can prepare for your business event. As a general guidance we recommend at least 4 weeks in advance. With respect to your preferred appointed time you have the opportunity to make a reservation for one week, before you do a binding booking.

I have booked the WELLENLÄNGE for a certain appointment. Is there any option of cancelation?
As we have scheduled the appointment for you, there is an option of cancelation from your side, but based on concrete time of cancelation we have to charge a cancelation fee. Cancelation fee to be charged amounts as follows:
50% of charter rate in case of cancelation from 4 weeks prior to appointment
75% of charter rate in case of cancelation from 2 weeks prior to appointment
100% of charter rate in case of cancelation until the day of appointment

In which time frame can I use the rooms of WELLENLÄNGE?
Regularly the WELLENLÄNGE is at your disposal from 9am until 6pm. In case you have planned different time frame for your business event we are happy to discuss special arrangements with you.

Where do I find the anchorage of WELLENLÄNGE?
WELLENLÄNGE is located at the port entrance of Citymarina Berlin-Rummelsburg, Zur Alten Flussbadeanstalt 5, 10317 Berlin. Together with your booking confirmation you will get a detailed location plan that will guide you the way to WELLENLÄNGE. On the day of your business event a member or The Floating Office Berlin will be on-site to welcome you and your team aboard.

Is it possible to book WELLENLÄNGE for an event with more than 8 participants?
Due to the pandemic, sensitivity has increased when working indoors. To enable you and your participants to work comfortably on the WELL LENGTH, we recommend limiting the number of participants on board to 8. Hereby you can be sure – regardless of any seating option you have chosen – to have enough space for a comfortable working session.

When should I book catering for my business event?
We recommend to book your catering packages at least one week prior to your event. We have to order the catering at least 3 working days in advance, after that no changes are possible.

Where will the catering be served?
All drinks and snacks will be served aboard in the kitchenette and/or in the small seminar room. During breaks please feel free to use the sun decks in case of nice weather.

May I smoke aboard of WELLENLÄNGE?
WELLENLÄNGE is a non-smoking area. Smoking is not permitted aboard due to security reasons.

Is it possible to become seasick aboard of WELLENLÄNGE?
We think this is pretty unlikely:-). During your event WELLENLÄNGE is tied up at the run way. For sure WELLENLÄNGE is a boat where you can sense soft and gentle movements. But this cannot be compared to a ship on the high seas, so no participant has ever told us about seasickness.

Is there a special dress-code aboard of WELLENLÄNGE?
WELLENLÄNGE is a modern and comfortable working room, that can be tempered seasonally via floor heating. Therefore your dress-code can be chosen according to your business purpose. Please note: As WELLENLÄNGE is located in a marina the approach will be via a runway. Dependent on weather conditions we recommend sturdy shoes.
